On the 16th and17th of October, AKO BENNOHAUS, PGP, FOPSIM, and GUS, the partners of MGM, held the first transnational meeting of the project, which marks the beginning of the project activities.
The project’s main aim is the professionalization and increased quality of work of youth workers who work with young people with migrant background. This will be achieved through providing them and youth organizations with the set of methods and tools supporting youth workers’ in their professional activities on developing and improving migrants’ basic soft skills, taking initiative and extracting their potential by using art as a driver for education and integration.
During the kick-off meeting, the partners discussed the activities that are going to be organized in the coming period ad each partner’s role. A timeline was set for each activity, according to which the project partners will work.
The Project will result in 4 Outputs. Namely, the “MYgrant mediART” Book (digital & print) – Multi-Medial & Artistic Methodologies for Youth Work with Migrants; “MYgrant eLEARNING” – Multi-Media Online Methodology Tool; “MYgrant EVENT” a Guide for Event Management (digital & print); “MYgrant JOURNEY” Board Game focusing on Intercultural Citizenships.
